How much for a website? It’s the most commonly asked question of any potential client and although it’s difficult to give a ballpark estimate without any prior knowledge of scope, time lines and objectives, we will do our best to give you a sense of what the ‘typical’ web project looks like.

So what does a typical web project look like?

Although no two projects are exactly alike, a ‘typical’ mid-sized web project will most likely include the following:

• Overall project management $500
• Simple Site and Information Architecture: $250
• Visual design – Two design directions with 2 rounds of revisions: $2,500
• CSS/XHTML and JavaScript Template(s): $1,000
• Content Management System (CMS) install, configuration and set-up: $1,000
• Content migration, build, quality assurance and launch: $1,500

Total: $6, 750
